Dinosaur.

Dinosaur means terrible lizard. They were the largest animals to have walked the earth many many years ago. The largest dinosaurs weighted up to fifty tons and were twenty-five meters long. No one ever saw a dinosaur. They died out long before there were any human being on the earth. Scientists have studied their bones and skeletons which have been found, remain of dinosaur eggs too have been found with baby dinosaur inside.
There were many varieties of dinosaur. The Brontosaurous, a kind of plant eating dinosaur weighed as much as six elephants, about thirty thousand kilograms. The largest plant eating dinosaur was the diplodocus. It was as long as three railway coaches. There were also flesh-eating dinosaurs. They ate other dinosaurs. It was six meters high and weighed eight tons. It had long sharp teeth and very short arms. There were dinosaur birds too. Their wings stretched out over three meters. They too had sharp teeth. There were dinosaur fish too, that lived in the water.
Where did these giant creatures all go? Were they killed by others or did they die with some strange disease? We are not sure what happened to them. However, scientists feel they probably died as the climate changed or because there was not enough food to support so many of them.
