She is a River

Teensy- weensy trickle down the gully,
O'er the moss carpet, where Aster chats with Lily.                             

Drips and dribbles, oozes and seeps

The laughing child spills and sips.
Down the hills and under the fern,
Voices her thoughts at every turn.
From spring to stream changes her shape,
Goes a long way down to the cape.
With wolffia , waterthyme , bass and cod,
Golden perch and hyacinth odd.
River broadens down at the plains
With time, knowledge and wisdom gains.
Listens to all the prayers and tales
Smiles at life and the death wails.
A woman now and a mother caring,
Overflowing at times, for tasks more daring.
 

At last she enters the final stage,
Wiser yet weaker, a challenging age.
With a load quite heavy, it turns and winds
Follows the bends of maturer minds.
Cleanses every body and soul,
The grim and dirt take their toll.
The old lady now with steps faltering
Seeks refuge in the ocean- in kind fostering.

Depression

Depression,Depression, Depression,
The suspicion of this generation,
Counselors giving the caution,
But depression knocking the minds of this generation.  

Depression, Depression, Depression,
"What does it mean?" is the question,
With knowledge or without knowledge,
This generation is suffering from depression.

Depression, Depression, Depression,
The actual cause is tension,
Tension for examination, relation and remuneration,   Depression is killing the nation.

Save the world ,
People committing suicide in depression,
Sobbing isn't the solution,
Suggestion is just relaxation.

If you think you're beaten you are.......
If you think you dare not, you don't...
If you like to win.....But think you can
It's almost an inch you won it !
If you think you will lose you're lost
For out you will find
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in a state of mind
If you think you're out classed, you are
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You've got to think high to rise
You can ever win the prize
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or the faster man,
But sooner or later , the one who wins,
Is the one who thinks that he or she can!

Childhood(Poem)

Childhood is an expensive time that cannot be bought
But our childhood is turning more sadder than I thought
We are facing big problems to play
Searching for a field,we waste the whole day
All our fields are taken by promoters
"Go away kids, we are building flats," says the builders
We always study and don't get time to play
"Study study study" is the only thing parents say
The childhood of our parents were a lot better
They had a lot of free time to play
Is nobody going to understand our problem?
We only want some free time and space to play outdoor games.

Life is hard
Nothing to fear,
Work with ease and
Everything is clear.         

Life is a chance
To get something
But if you don't try,
You will get nothing .

Life is so short
Fight heart and soul
Try and tug hard and
You will reach your goal.

Wake up guys
It's time to fight
But if you don't try ,
You will get nothing right.
